My Dancing Man

I'm trying to capture their character to paper so I can remember them forever. My dancing man...Rogie. Every time we had musical entertainment you could depend on him to get up and dance a jig.  He had loyal visitors who kept him company.  He loved to come downstairs in search of coffee in the morning after breakfast and exercise was over.   He was such a gentleman and thanked me for inviting him to join us every time.  He was married to Rosa for about 60 years and still talked about her as if she were right beside him.  He will love her forever.  Back to the Coffee, every morning I would offer him a fresh baked cookie with his coffee and he would always say.."My, they are still warm from the little oven."  We always baked fresh cookies at 10a..without fail he would always be amazed that the cookies were warm.  Oh and if there was food at the activity, he would be there. I got him to come to brain class to find out what trail mix was.  Lol! And dance, that man did love to dance.  He would get up with his walker and move his feet and body to the beat of the music.  Everyone loved to see him do it.  We looked forward to it.   He loves mimosas, wine & cheese, pie socials. Such a gentle soul, warm and kind.
